This map is about 28 years old. Mum and Dad bought it in the USA to show the route we took in a motorhome in February 1982 for 6 weeks when I was 13 and my sister was 10. We got it out last night and were remembering the adventurous things we did. The red and green dots are places that we wanted to visit. Dad told me last night that we were advised not to head any further north because the roads may have been closed/too dangerous for that time of year. The black line is another shorter trip we took east.
It's still significant to me because I intend to do something similar, (at least twice!) only concentrated in the western states.
